I hiked Tumalo Mountain July 27 of this year. The first time I tried to hike this trail, there was far too much snow, this was about mid June. The snow was still very present well into summer this year!
This trail is 4 mile out-and-back and took me just over 2 hours to complete at a casual and comfortable pace. At this part of the year, there was a fair amount of mosquitoes at the base of the trail, perhaps the first 30 minutes of my hike.
While there are stretches of steady inclines, the view is certainly worthwhile and getting to the top doesn't take long! It was rather windy when I went so I do recommend keeping your hat strapped tight!
