In the southwest corner of Oregon, Harris Beach offers some amazing rock formations along the coastal line, some even host local marine life. The famous sea star, the Ochre Star, can be found hiding in these rocky locations. They are easy to spot due to their relatively large size and bold colors, coming in orange or purple.

I had such a blast walking along Harris Beach that I made one of my fellow adventurers and good friend come back with me only weeks later. It can be very windy down at this popular location so do plan accordingly.
